US Tax Estimator — Privacy Policy

US Tax Estimator (“the App”) is published by LYU LLC (Austin, TX, USA).

What we collect

LYU LLC does not collect, receive, or have access to any of your
data. The App has no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising,
and it never sends your information to us or to any third party.

Tax calculator

Income and other figures you type into the tax calculator are used only for
on-screen estimates. They are not written to storage and are discarded when the
App is closed.

Bookkeeping ledger & iCloud sync

Entries you save in the bookkeeping ledger (income, expenses, mileage, notes)
are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, they are also synced
to your own private iCloud using Apple’s CloudKit, so they are
backed up and available on your other devices. This data lives in your personal
iCloud account and is governed by
Apple’s privacy policy; LYU
LLC cannot access it, and no third-party or LYU LLC servers are involved. If you
are not signed in to iCloud, ledger data stays only on your device. You may
delete any entry, or export your ledger to a file you share yourself.
The bookkeeping ledger, voice logging, and iCloud sync are available on
supported Apple devices.

Voice logging

If you log entries by voice, the App uses Apple’s built-in dictation and
on-device intelligence to turn your speech into an entry. Your audio and
transcript are handled on your device and are never sent to LYU LLC.

Notifications

The App may request notification permission solely to schedule optional
tax-deadline reminders locally on your device. These reminders never leave your
device and can be turned off at any time.

Children

The App does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including
children under 13.
